A Visual Hymn
I attempted to create an image based largely on intangible things: hope, power, and my perception of history. When thinking of the Resurrection, there are so many factors to consider. The same goes for the Ascension or Christ’s nativity. While I could not create an image that covered all three, I tried for the Resurrection and Ascension. The resulting image – “Ascent” – blends digital photography and Corel painter and is printed at the rather large size of 72×36 inches on heavy William Turner art paper mounted to the sturdiest gatorboard.
